I wish it continued to progressively louder as the signal gets stronger…quite a surprise the first time I looked down and realized the signal was maxed out without an audible alert.

I’ve been using RMC for almost 20 years now and Only received 2 tickets in over 1,000,000 miles. The first one was because my daughter broke the power cable The second one I was driving through north west Wisconsin about 9:00!pm on St. Patty’s night, nothing but pine trees and open road, so I was doing 20 over. The Ka band chirps, slow down until I get past and down the road a bit and get back up to speed. About a mile or two down the road Ka goes off again, same routine, slow down, get past and speed up. And I do the same routine third time. At this point I’m laughing to myself and thinking I should stop at the next town and by a lottery ticket. But at last the full had to end. The fourth time was laser and I was right on top of him. So I pulled over and we had a nice chat, lol. But, hey I still laughed for the remaining 200 miles and the detector never went off agai , nor did I see another trooper. Anyway, RMR makes a great product and always has.

I don’t drive any vehicle with out a my radar detector in it. It has saved my “BUT”so many times. Its the handiest piece of equipment I own.

I have had four of your detector/scramblers and the are very reliable and dependable. When this unit goes off you had better pay attention. It has good rejection and is a great peice of equiptment. It never lies to me.

Everything has been great up until the last Radar Detector that I bought. I bought 2 of the same and they both works well but DAMN they both have too much false alarm. There is no such thing as a quite ride with this Detector. outside of that I rate this Company with 5 stars across the board.

I purchased 2 Judges , both seem to work well BUT one will clip to the mount and still fix to the mount. The other one never has stayed clip to the mount , I had to improvise to get it to stay mounted.
Both units generate lots of heat , which in my opinion , is not good for the units. I’m working on a way to mount a shade above the units that will keep the sun’s rays off the units.
This is my 3 & 4 unites going back several years , 20+ , I am a Rocky Mountain Radar customer and pleased that their products. -

Its great radar detector, alot less flase detection and an at ease feeling knowing i have one up on any police looking for a speeder . I feel like i protecting other vehicle s around me as well . I just wish it was able to give a direction of where the signal its detecting is coming from

I have always got great service and I love the units I have purchased over the years and have given many for gifts. I have recommended these units to many and they have ordered them and always get great feedback from them. I will not recommend many things but I am and have been a user for many years and never leave without mine. Only had a couple of issues and Rocky fixed one and the other did not block one radar and I got stopped, but he let me go, it told me I was being clocked just didn’t block the unit out. I still use it, just never sent it back to be fixed. someday I will trade it in on a new one. Thanks

After more than a decade using RMR, I know that this concept in making you invisible works. Just follow RMR instructions and you will not be ticketed for speeding, and this is no bull s***.

You gentlemen make a great product, but when you make a new updated detector what are we supposed to do with the old ones ??? It would be nice if you gave a return rebate or price break when buying a new updated model !

Quality: Hand to replace cord. Might want to consider lithium battery operation and get rid of the cord or make it optional (rechargeable).

Now I own 3 judges… they are outdated and I use city mode for all driving. The highway mode goes off with the rear cameras and backup alarms from other vehicles when passing. Still better than nothing!!!

Still get alot of false alarms..seems to be from 18 wheelers mostly.When the judge goes 0ff…The law is usually right on top of me. I live in the mountains of NC. Still better than the last RM radar detector.

I think I have five or six devices from your company. My experience goes back at least 10 years. I think you guys are at the top.
And I’m not just saying that because my daughter won your Porsche! She and her husband five years love that thing. They keep it garaged well tuned and only take it out and nice weather!

I’ve owned Rocky Mountain Radar products since 1989 , these things work awesome Don’t believe the BS reviews from Radar Roy and also Vortex , these guys are bought & paid for by Passport ! I’ve had at least 8 of these in all different model #’s , the last few being RMR 475 , the Judge & now the Judge 2.0 , love them all & don’t ever like to drive without them. Rocky Mountain Radar Customer Service is as great as their products , Don’t waste your time with those other brands out there , like Valentine , Bell , Passport , Escort , they will warn you when you just got your next Ticket !! By far the best on the market , I haven’t had a ticket since the late 1980’s and I swear by these products !

Great product. Has saved me thousands of dollars in tickets. Happened as recent as today. Doing 85 in a 70. It’s like I was a ghost or had a Bat Sheild. I’ve owned one since 1998 and have bought for my wife and children. I will always have one.

I have 3 of your units , 3 times updated. I am wondering about if you are making a radar unit for the police can not point the radar gun and tell if i am using the phone or not.

I’ve used RMR products for several years; from the original Phantom to the Judge. My confidence level has only grown throughout those years and I’ve made believers out of many skeptics who have traveled with me at times. Somewhat disappointed that my original Judge has been rendered obsolete so quickly by the Judge 2.0. A program to provide updates to an existing unit would be great, much like software companies now do.

I have been using rocky mountain radar about 15 years. The one I have now is the judge. Each new upgrade is better than the last. I would hate to have to drive without it.

Love the Judge II. I think it’s great you send me in advance chances to buy your new detectors at a discount price before a lot of other people. You have a great exchange program also. Dt times I can trade my old radar detectors in and put towards a new one.
